E For All : Awesome Fatal1ty
This Friday marks the start of the E For All Gaming Event in Los Angeles
By Ko Maruyama
Since E3 went into hiding from public view, E For All started up in an attempt to not only show gamers and game fans what might be in store for them, but also host different competitions for pro and amateur gamers alike. There is no gamer more visible than Johnathan FATAL1TY Wendel. With the E4All expo in only a couple of days time, you may want to double check your calendar to make sure you have a slot available to make your way through Fatal1ty's maze.
E4All isn't as much a convention where businesses come to pitch products to resellers, it was conceived to give gamers access to the things they want, games and game gear... and other gamers.
Ask any gamer - they know Fatal1ty (aka Johnathan Wendel) - either as a celebrity or as a piece of tech that is attached to their gaming rig.
This year, Johnathan has a Wii maze of sorts set up for you to sadly attempt. Think you have what it takes? Check it out at the LOS ANGELES CONVENTION CENTER Friday through Sunday (Oct 3, 4, 5). The obstacle course set up will have 4 Wi stations. Each gamer will play at a video game station, going head to head to display their physical prowess by diving into tunnels, running through tires and doing other physical activities to beat their challenger. The winner will receive an ultimate prize.
To add to the video game festivities, players can demo interactive games before their release dates. Exciting new software with top of the line graphics will allow players to test their skills and introduce them to brand new, challenging games.
Fatal1ty will also play against the crowd with the game, Quake 4. The video game Rock Band will be played on stage so fans can participate in this as well. Prizes and swag will be given out to participants.
Fatal1ty believes in fostering the dreams of children. Fatal1ty is currently participating with the charity Make A Wish Foundation. He will make a wish come true for a child with a debilitating disease by playing video games with him.
